An officer responding to a report of violence at an apartment in the 700 block of Londonderry Lane about 11L30 p.m. Monday found a window broken out and glass lying on the ground outside, indicating the window had been broken from the inside. A man walked up from around a corner of the building and said he lived in the apartment. He said he and his girlfriend argued and he pushed out out the door and shut it. She was angry and slapped the window while she was out there, he said, and the window broke. He was adamant the he wanted to press charges but would not tell the officer her name. He was not cooperative. The officer made a computer check and learned that the man had several outstanding warrants. He took him to jail.
