Man shot at apartment complex
Officers responded about 11 p.m. Sunday to a report of a lot of yelling and screaming at an apartment complex in the 3400 block of Joyce Lane and the sound of a gunshot. On arrival they could hear screaming in the back of the apartment but no one answered the door. They forced the door open and went inside. They found no gunshot victim but detained everyone there until detectives arrived and sorted things out.
Meanwhile, a hospital emergency room employee reported that a 22-year-old man had just arrived with a bullet wound.
No further information was available Monday morning, but if I learn anything else I will post it.
Other reports
2500 block of Stella Street - Officers arrived about 10:40 p.m. and arrested two men, ages 22 and 23. Charges included public intoxication (non alcohol), possession of a controlled subject and four outstanding warrants. No further information was available.
