Elderly woman loses roof
Police who arrived at a call in the 800 block of Edgewood Street Wednesday noticed that the house had no roof. An 89-year-old woman told the officers that a group of roofers came to her house and tore the roof off the house. She does not recall giving them permission to work on her house. An investigation is continuing.

800 block of West Massey Street - A man reported Wednesday morning that he awoke to find his laptop computer missing from his room. He believes that someone came into his room while he was sleeping and took the computer.
100 block of Duchess Street - A man told police Wednesday that he pays for his mother's cell phone usage. His brother borrowed the phone from her, he said, promising to have it back in an hour. The brother has not returned with the phone and he wants to press charges.
