Couple recognize peeping tom
A woman called police from an apartment in the 500 block of South Carroll Boulevard Monday afternoon to report that she and her boyfriend caught a man peering through the blinds at her as she changed clothes in her bedroom about 4:40 p.m. The 20-year-old woman and her boyfriend rushed outside the apartment and found a man hiding in the bushes peeping through the window with his hands down inside his pants. He fled, but they recognized him as a maintenance man at the apartment complex, according to the police report. They want to file charges.

2600 block of West Oak Street - Officers responded to a report of a disturbance about 1:30 p.m. Monday and found a mother screaming at her daughter. The mother said the daughter had forged her name on the rental contract for the apartment where she was staying and was not paying her rent. The bill had gone to a collection agency, which was harassing the mother.
