Man wants girlfriend arrested but won't give her name

An officer responding to a report of violence at an apartment in the 700 block of Londonderry Lane about 11L30 p.m. Monday found a window broken out and glass lying on the ground outside, indicating the window had been broken from the inside. A man walked up from around a corner of the building and said he lived in the apartment. He said he and his girlfriend argued and he pushed out out the door and shut it. She was angry and slapped the window while she was out there, he said, and the window broke. He was adamant the he wanted to press charges but would not tell the officer her name. He was not cooperative. The officer made a computer check and learned that the man had several outstanding warrants. He took him to jail.

3400 block of East University Drive - The owner of a vehicle repair shop reported Monday morning that sometime between Saturday and Monday someone jacked up a car that was parked at his business and stole all four tires and rims.

3800 block of Lakeview Boulevard - Someone smeared feces all over the mens' room in the community building of Pecan Creek Homeowners' Association sometime between Friday and Monday, according to a report.

2900 block of Interstate 35E - Two medical offices in the Professional Building were broken into over the weekend, according to a Monday report. The burglar used a screwdriver to pry open doors and drawers. In one of the offices $100 was taken from a petty cash drawer. The screwdriver caused considerable damage to the property, according to the report.
