Arrests plentiful Tuesday

Police charged four men with robbery about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday after finding them threatening a man and ransacking his apartment.
Neighbors called to report they could hear men shouting "Give me the money!" and "I'm going to kill you!" in an apartment in the 3400 block of Joyce Lane. Officers arrived and detained four men. The victim said they entered his apartment and ransacked it looking for valuables. They threatened to kill him, he said. The four were charged with robbery.

900 block of Fort Worth Drive - Residents called 911 about a reckless driver about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday and officers found the driver. She was intoxicated, and while arresting her the officers found numerous illegal drugs in her handbag, according to the report.
The charged with female driver with DWI, possession of paraphernalia, possession of K2, possession of marijuana, and possession of a dangerous drug.

2000 block of Teasley Lane - A woman called for help in getting rid of her 22-year-old nephew about 7:40 p.m. Tuesday but he was gone by the time officers arrived. The officers went to the apartment where he lives and found him there. They saw a woman holding her neck who said he struck her with his fist. The nephew refused to answer any questions from an officer and spit on him, according to the report. He was taken to jail, where he continued to fight with officers and suffered an injury in the scuffle. The officers called medics, who treated the eye. He was placed in a detox cell and charged with assault, harassment of a public servant, resisting arrest and possession of a dangerous drug.

1800 block of West University Drive - A Dallas cab driver called for help Thursday night because a woman rode to a Denton store and then refused to pay for the trip. An officer found her inside a store inhaling from a can that contained compressed air. The 35-year-old woman was charged with theft of service, possession of a volatile chemical and Carrollton and McKinney warrants.
