Juvenile Checked Out of Library

An employee of the city library in the 3000 block of North Locust Street told police Monday that a juvenile who regularly visits there broke a counter off a door and stole the counter. An officer watched the surveillance video of the youth committing the vandalism and found him. He told him that he could no longer visit any library in the city.

700 block of Frame Street - A 64-year-old woman reported Monday that she received a letter from the Internal Revenue Service notifying her that someone else used her social security number and it is compromised.

600 block of North Interstate 35E - An acquaintance exposed himself and masturbated in front of a group of people staying in a motel room late Monday, according to a police report. A 40-year-old woman who was in the room reported the indecent exposure and said she was offended by the man's actions and wants to press charges.

3400 block of Avon Street - Her daughter tried to kill her in December, a 62-year-old woman told police Monday. The woman said she doesn't remember the incident but her neighbors told her that the daughter assaulted her. She said the daughter is bi-polar and has pointed a gun at her in the past.

1200 block of Egan Street - A man told police Monday that a man he knows is threatening to send the Arian Brotherhood, which is a white supremacy group, to his house to "take care of him." The two men are involved in a civil court action, according to the report.

2200 block of South Interstate 35E - Two men and a woman came into a store Monday afternoon and stole seven Michael Kors handbags worth more than $1,500, an employee reported.
