Police Locate Alzheimer's patient

Denton Police found an 80-year-old Alzheimer's patient Thursday afternoon after he had been wandering around in the heat for nearly an hour. A man called from the 1400 block of South Loop 288, saying that his father had wandered off and he could not find him. Officers searched for the man and found him in the area of Teasley Lane and Pennsylvania Avenue. The report did not state whether the man suffered any affects from the heat.

3000 block of North Elm Street - A woman reported Thursday that someone used her social security number to alter some of her account information. No further information was included.

7900 block of Apple Valley Court - A man reported Thursday morning that he has been receiving numerous harassing calls from a debt collection agency. He never had an account with the company the agency is trying to collect money for, he said.
